Our recommendation read against today's market data.
Apollo Hospitals is widely recognised as the pioneer of private healthcare in India and was the country’s first corporate hospital. The Apollo Hospitals Group, which started as a 150-bed hospital in Chennai in 1983 and today operates 10,000-plus beds across 73 hospitals.
We are constructive on Apollo as the company enters a multi-year period of volume-led hospital growth, rising clinical complexity and significant operating leverage from its expanding bed base. We expect 22% hospital revenue growth in FY27, while the ramp-up of new hospitals and HealthCo's transition to profitability should increasingly support consolidated earnings. The combination of ~26% mature-hospital margins, 14,100-bed capacity by FY31 and multiple emerging profitability levers provides a strong foundation for sustained earnings growth over the medium term.
